Free Beading Pattern - Crochet Bead Bracelet

This has got to be the easiest and most beautiful bead bracelet you can make.

You can customize it to suit your style and color choice. Want a necklace instead? Just double the length of the wire.

You will need:

Crochet hook

28 or 32 gauge gold or silver wire cut to 125cm (50inches)

Bead stopper to hold all those beads onto you thread.

Any beads of your choice. A good idea is to mix the size and have different shades of the one colour.

1. 1. Thread the beads onto the thread in a pattern you want. Small beads either side of bigger beads. Use seeds beads either side of your main beads. Don’t forget to put that bead stopper on the end.

2. 2. Using the crochet hook, do a few chain stitches.

3. 3. Push the first bead down the thread passed the crochet hook.

4. 4. Do one chain stitch.

5. 5. Push the next bead down the thread and add another chain stitch.

6. 6. Continues with one bead one chain until you use all the beads.

7. 7. Pull the end of the wire through the last stitch to make a knot.

8. 8. Make 3 lengths of your pattern at the length to suit you. Join the 3 lengths of beads into a loop and add a clasp at each end. You can let the 3 loops hang down separately or you can twist them together for a great twisted effect.

For a lighter bracelet or necklace, with the beads spaced out, add more chain stitches between the beads.

For a heavy beaded look add a group of beads then one chain stitch, then another group of beads.

The beads I used were 45 blue seed beads, 12 small clear crystal beads and 8 large blue crystal beads

The pattern I used in my bracelet was:

3 seed beads, I small clear crystal bead, 2 seed beads, 1 large crystal bead, 2 seed beads, 1 small crystal bead, 3 seed bead.

Swarovski Crystal Bead Necklace
Here is a pattern for an easy necklace.

Take 3 lengths of nylon thread cut to size for a necklace. Put the 3 end together on your bead stopper.

( Don’t have one, a lump of blu tak or plasticine will do fine to hold the threads together)

Thread your beads in this order:

Thread the first 3 through all 3 nylon threads together!

Add a bead spacer ( this necklace uses silver ones)

Add a pearl bead

Add a bead spacer

Now separate the 3 threads

Add 3 small Swarovski crystals on to each thread (light pink)

Add 3 large size Swarovski crystals on to each thread (dark pink)

Add 3 small Swarovski crystals on to each thread (light pink)

Put the 3 nylon threads together again.

Add a bead spacer

Add a pearl bead

Add a bead spacer

Repeat until you have the right length for your necklace.

Add you choice of clasps.

You need 8 small gold safety pins
2 red seed beads
19 green seed beads
42 gold seed beads
Thread 7 safety pins onto the remaining pin.
thread your beads onto the safety pins in this order;
1. 9 gold beads
2. 5 gold, 2 green, 2 gold
3. 3 gold, 4 green, 2 gold
4. 7 green, 2 red
5. 3 gold, 4 green, 2 gold
6. 5 gold, 2 green, 2 gold
7. 9 gold beads
Now you are done.
You can use this as a brooch, pin it to your table napkins for your quests at Christmas, attached it to Christmas cards or use it to attach your gift cards to presents!
